Guitarrist Fabio Golfetti (Violeta de Outono, Gong Global Family) runs an international career under the name INVISIBLE OPERA COMPANY OF TIBET, which is a concept based on an idea by Daevid Allen (Gong, Soft Machine): to connect artists from different countries. Invisible Opera´s first appearance was in 1968 in a Parisian cafe, with Daevid Allen & Gilli Smyth. In the 90´s, Invisible Opera reappeared in Australia with Russel Hibbs, in England with Brian Zero, and in Brazil, with Fabio Golfetti, conjuring a comprehensive sound which goes from free-jazz to space-rock, exploring also electronic music and ambient sounds.

IOCT´s Brazilian version has put out 3 albums in England through Voiceprint Records: Cosmic Dance (1992), Glissando Spirit (1997) e Glissando Spirit Live (2006), besides a large amount of alternative recordings. The group´s new incarnation includes Fabio Golfetti (guitars, effects, voice), Gabriel Costa (bass) and Fred Barley (drums, voice) – all of them featured on the recently released CD/DVD Gong Global Family - Live in Brazil.

The trio has just released a new album, entitled UFO Planante, which carries on the purpose of melting rock, jazz, space sounds, noise, oriental music and improvisations. From psychedelic landscapes to raging rhythmic explosions, through the oniric ambiences perpetrated by Fabio´s glissando guitar, the album invites the listener to a soundtrip through different distant places.
