New solo album by guitarist Fabio Golfetti from Gong and Violeta de Outono

Guitarist Fabio Golfetti, who made his career with the Brazilian band Violeta de Outono and also with the French-English band Gong, launches his new solo album, with the special guest of Stratus Luna and Gong musicians.

During the 1990s, Fabio developed a collaborative solo project under the codename Invisible Opera, linked to Australian musician/poet Daevid Allen. With Invisible Opera he released in 1993 the album Glissando Spirit and in 2010 the album UFO Planante.

The new album Songs & Visions, which was conceived and composed between Gong’s tours and projects, is inspired by songs and improvisations, a journey through imaginary landscapes featuring 8 instrumental tracks that explore psychedelia and jazz.
It has the collaboration of the rhythmic session of Stratus Luna with Gabriel Golfetti on bass and Giovanni Lenti on drums, in addition to Gong musicians, Ian East on tenor sax and Dave Sturt on ebow bass, and the contribution of percussionist João Parahyba.
